The link to The Case for Zero Waste presents all the information you need to get started going towards a ZERO WASTE HOME. However, change is a process and it requires patience and perserverance. I am not anywhere near completley ZERO waste -  yet - but I refuse to give up on myself or others.

The privilige of being inspired by those who act out of necessity!

“Creativity occurs outside of the legitimate, status quo system and is often in direct conflict with that system.” - Judith H. Heerwagen (2002)

The Creative Consumer

The Challenge is to take responsibility for the objects we buy or receive and to become  a steward of the resources that have been used to create them. Waste is a concept we can no longer afford.

The object in your hand has material properties and can be re-used. Assoc. Professor Emma Robertson tells us that there are many aspects to creativity but 'one would include the ability to take existing objects and combine them in  different ways for new purposes'. And this, in essence, is the challenge next time you hold one of your  "toys" in your hand ready to put it into the rubbish bin.

Simple Instructions on how to begin...
